Front Mission 1st Remake

In 2090, global conflicts are waged by giant war machinery known as Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only area where both the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) are neighbors that share a border on land. This has become a major source of conflict.

An O.C.U. reconnaissance squadron under the command of Captain Royd Clive is assigned to look into an U.C.S. munitions plant. They're sprayed by U.C.S. Wanzers. The incident triggers a sequence of incidents that plunge entire island into battle. Royd's fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Retired from the military Royd begins to look into what transpired to Karen. He is led closer in the direction of the truth at the root of the crime as well as the people who created it.

There are a myriad of characters you can befriend, its mature plot with non-Manichean heroes, Front Mission is one of the best examples of a tactical Japanese RPG style, and is now made available to all players worldwide.
