Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In 2090, global conflicts are waged through massive war-machines known as Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only location where there is Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) Huffman island is the only island where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and Unified Continental States are allowed to co-exist. The border between Canada and the United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is a zone of intense conflict.

An O.C.U. Platoon of reconnaissance under Captain Royd Clive was given the task of examining a U.C.S. munitions plant. They’re sprayed by U.C.S. Wanzers. They trigger a chain of events that sends the whole island into war. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

In the aftermath of being dismissed from the military Royd is determined to find out what happened to Karen. Royd is more in the right direction and those who are responsible.

With dozens of characters to encounter, its mature narrative, and non-Manichean protagonists, Front Mission is the standard of the strategic Japanese RPG style, and is now being made widely available.
